We are pleased to invite Film makers from all over the world to Submit entries for possible inclusion in the 4th Spinning Wheel Film Festival (SWFF). The SWFF presents films within the broadest range of topics regarding the Sikh experience. To be considered, films must be about Sikhs, for Sikhs or made by Sikhs.
Now in its fourth year, the SWFF provides opportunities for local, national and international filmmakers to showcase and discuss their work. The festival will run from November 16th – 18th, 2007 at
the Writers Guild of America Theatre in Beverly Hills Hollywood,
California USA. Entries are being accepted until June 30, 2007, and selected submissions will be screened at the festival.
Entries are welcome from professional, amateur and student film makers. All genres will be considered; short dramas, short documentaries, experimental videos, video art, animation, music videos, feature films and documentaries. The festival also accepts works in progress.
Participants will be pleased to know that beginning this year, in addition to recognition and funding for ongoing projects, cash prizes totaling $20,000 will be awarded. Limited financing for travel and local stay is also available on request for contributors whose films are selected for screening.
